All Hydra's operate on a principle of component-to-component noise isolation. Each component in an entertainment system generates noise which is kicked-back upon the other components. The Hydra uses a VF noise filter at each outlet to neutralize and dissipate the noise. The Hydra Model-6 provides near Hydra Model-8 performance at half the cost.
